14 Dec 2008: Stags at Harewood House, the last shots taken with the D200. The 300mm AF-I f/2.8 is usually a stellar performer.

07 Dec 2008: The ducks at Golden Acre are an endless source of amusement and practice. Note the gulls walking on the ice sheet.

30 Nov 2008: Swinsty Reservoir can get cold. The feeder dam shown was covered in about 2 inches of ice in places, and it made that peculiar humming noise when something was thrown across it.

22 Nov 2008: The A59 between Harrogate and Skipton near Deerstones presenting some nice views after a light snow.

16 Nov 2008: The limestone pavement above Conistone Dip is an interesting piece of geology where the horizontal bedding plane has been eroded along the jointing. The smoothed cracks (grikes) can be a couple of feet deep and inside live a variety of plants, some of which look almost temperate with soft leaves. This pavement features in one of the Wuthering Heights movies.

02 Nov 2008: More photo opportunities in Golden Acre park, this time with the Nikon F and 16mm f/2.8 AF fisheye on Fuji Superia and scanned with a Coolscan V. I doubt whether today's digital SLR's will stand the test of time that this 40 year old has.
